With more than 20 years of experience supporting complex technical solution deployments, Jim brings a practical, regulatory-focused perspective that helps organizations strengthen compliance, reduce operational risk, and improve inspection readiness.
At JRI, Jim works closely with hospital systems, pharmacies, blood banks, laboratories, biotech firms, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and research organizations across North America. He partners with stakeholders across Quality, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Facilities, and IT to design monitoring strategies that align with both regulatory requirements and operational realities. His consultative approach focuses on ensuring monitoring systems are technically sound, properly validated, and built to support long-term compliance and operational efficiency.
Jim serves as JRI’s North American technical and regulatory resource, advising organizations on a wide range of environmental monitoring and compliance considerations, including:
- GxP (GMP/GDP) monitoring environments
- 21 CFR Part 11 data integrity and audit trail requirements
- Joint Commission, CDC, AABB, and state board regulations
- USP <797> and <800> controlled storage standards
- Temperature and humidity mapping methodologies
- Calibration traceability and lifecycle management
- Excursion documentation and inspection readiness
- Validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) approaches
- Risk mitigation and continuous compliance strategies
Through this work, Jim helps organizations move beyond reactive monitoring toward proactive compliance programs that protect critical environments, high-value assets, and patient safety.
Prior to joining JRI, Jim served as Regional Sales Manager at a separate temperature monitoring provider, where he supported healthcare and life-science organizations across 22 states. In this role, he worked closely with hospital pharmacies, compounding facilities, research laboratories, and biotech firms to implement cloud-based environmental monitoring and IoT compliance solutions.
He collaborated with Pharmacy, Laboratory Operations, BioMed, Facilities, Infection Prevention, and Quality/Regulatory teams to modernize monitoring strategies and strengthen compliance with USP, FDA, CDC, and Joint Commission requirements.
Jim guided organizations through the full lifecycle of monitoring deployments, including system selection, validation, implementation, and long-term compliance management. His consultative approach helped customers improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance audit readiness across regulated environments.
Earlier in his career, Jim held senior business development and sales leadership roles across technology and communications organizations. His leadership experience included building channel programs, mentoring sales teams, and developing scalable growth strategies.
Throughout his career, Jim has built a reputation for practical problem-solving and collaborative partnership. He understands that environmental monitoring is not simply a technology deployment—it is a critical component of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability. His focus is on helping organizations implement solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.

Jim holds a degree in Marketing from Ball State University and is based in Carmel, Indiana. He supports JRI customers across North America, helping organizations implement monitoring programs that deliver confidence, reliability, and long-term compliance success.
