Privacy policy

The present confidentiality policy defines and informs you of the manner in which JRI uses and protects the information that you transmit to us.

Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by JRI, in particular in order to comply with any changes in legislation, regulations, case law or technology. In such a case, the date of the update will be clearly identified at the top of the present policy. These modifications are binding on the User as soon as they are put online. It is therefore advisable for the User to consult the present privacy and cookie use policy on a regular basis in order to take note of any changes.


1. PERSONAL DATA


In general, you can visit the JRI site and use the JRI MyNanoView and JRI MyFoodCheck mobile applications without communicating any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are in no way obliged to transmit this information to JRI.

Nevertheless, in the event of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. In certain cases, JRI may ask you to provide your surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, company and position (hereinafter referred to as your “Personal Information”). By providing this information, you expressly agree to it being processed by JRI, for the purposes indicated in paragraph 1.2 below, as well as for the purposes stated at the end of each form.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 as amended, JRI informs you of the following:


1.1 Identity of the data controller

1.2 Purpose of processing
JRI may process your Personal Information:
(a) for the purpose of providing you with the information or services you have requested (in particular: sending the Newsletter, commercial offers, technical documents ….
(b) to gather information that will enable us to improve our Site, products and services
(c) for the purpose of contacting you regarding various events relating to JRI, including product updates and customer support.

1.3. Recipients
Only JRI is the recipient of your Personal Information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party. Neither JRI nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and users of its site.

1.4. Retention period
Your Personal Information is kept by JRI only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection, as indicated in paragraph 1.2 above, which in any event may not exceed 24 months.

1.5. Data protection rights
You have the following rights concerning your Personal Information, which you may exercise by writing to us at the postal address mentioned in paragraph 1.1 or by sending an e-mail to info.rgpd@group-mms.com.

1.5.1 Right of access and communication of data
You have the right to access your personal information.
However, in view of JRI’s obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data, you are informed that your request will be processed provided that you can prove your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid identity document or a signed photocopy of your valid identity document (in the case of a written request).
JRI informs you that it will be entitled, if necessary, to oppose manifestly abusive requests (by their number, repetitive or systematic nature).

1.5.2 Right to rectify data
Under this right, you are entitled by law to request the rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of any data concerning you that may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.

1.5.3 Right to object
This right can only be exercised in one of the following two situations:
1. When the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds.
2. When the purpose of exercising this right is to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.

To help you in your approach, particularly if you wish to exercise your right to object by means of a written request addressed to the postal address indicated in paragraph 1.1, you will find a model letter drawn up by the CNIL.

1.5.6. Response times
JRI undertakes to reply to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.

1.5.7. Authorized service providers and transfers to countries outside the European Union
No service provider is authorized to use the data collected. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

2. COOKIE POLICY

2.1 General information on cookies on the
site The site uses cookies for audience measurement and analysis, and also uses a number of cookies to manage user sessions.

3. MOBILE APPLICATION

Regarding the mobile applications JRI MyNanoView, JRI MyFoodCheck and JRI NaoScan, JRI informs you of the following points:

3.1 Use of your data and cookies
No cookies are used in the mobile applications, and they do not collect any information from the phone, the user or usage (no internal or external statistics).

3.2 Geolocation
Permission for geolocation is required at the launch of the JRI MyNanoView and JRI MyFoodCheck mobile applications for the use of Bluetooth, and only for this purpose. Under no circumstances does JRI store geolocation data.
